Squarespace Free Trial

Squarespace offers free trials for its products. A trial allows you to try out the product without committing to a full purchase. If you decide to continue using Squarespace after the trial period ends, it will automatically convert into a paid account.

You can start a trial here.

How Does Squarespace Free Trial Work

Trial sites give you an opportunity to test out a product without having to commit to a full payment. They usually offer free trial periods ranging anywhere from one day to several months.

During this period, you’ll have access to most of the site’s features, including editing capabilities. After the trial expires, you’ll either be prompted to upgrade to a paid plan or asked to cancel your subscription.

There are different pricing models depending on how long you want to use the trial. For example, some companies charge $1 per month while others charge $10 per month. Some even allow you to pay monthly installments over a longer period of time.

How Long Does the Squarespace Free Trial Last?

To start a Squarespace Trial, go to Squarespace.com/trial. You can use the site for up to 14 days without paying anything. If you decide to keep it, you’ll be charged $12 per month.

A Squarespace trial lasts either 14 days or six months depending on whether you are a Squarespace Circle member or not. You can extend your trial up to three times during the trial period.

Are any Features Limited in the Free Trial?

There are no limitations in the free trial. Everything you see and use during the trial period works just like it does after you make a purchase. In fact, there are even some premium features that are unlocked once you start paying. If you want to try out those features, simply upgrade to a paid plan.

How do I extend a Squarespace trial?

When your Squarespace trial expires, you will receive an e-mail from the support team asking if you want to continue or end your subscription. If you choose to continue, you’ll be able to access your site for another 30 days. To extend your trial, follow these steps:

1. Log into your account.

2. Click “My Account.”

3. Select “Manage Subscription Settings,” and select “Extend Trial.”

4. Enter the date you’d like to extend your trial and confirm it.

5. Once your trial period has been extended, you’ll see a confirmation screen.

6. Your trial will now run for 60 days.

If you decide to cancel your Squarespace account, you won’t lose anything except your data. All images, videos, and text are stored locally on your computer.

Can I Change my Template During my Free Trial?

Changing templates is easy and doesn’t require an extra fee. You can choose any template that you like, even if you don’t sign up for a paid account. Your trial will end after fourteen days, regardless of whether or not you decide to pay.

Extend your own Trial

After your trial expires, you’ll receive an email from customer support with the subject “Your trial has expired.” In addition to extending your trial period, you can do so directly from this email. To extend your trial, click the Extend your trial by X days link. Your trial will expire in seven days. At that point, you’ll be prompted to upgrade to paid service.

If you have less than two days remaining in your trial, click the chat icon in the bottom right corner (available on desktop), and select the option under Upgrade Your Site. This will show you how many days remain in your trial.
